This 2017 Yamaha VF250XA is a new 250 HP V6 V MAX SHO built with a 25-inch shaft for boats that need the extra length, model code VF250XA. Top-end power on the long shaft Double overhead cams, four large-radius valves per cylinder and a long-track intake delivering electronic multi-point fuel injection give this powerhead its top-of-range output. A knock sensor guards ignition timing so the engine can run closer to its performance limit without risking detonation. Rigging for the longer shaft Mounting centers are set at 28.6 inches and steering swings to a maximum of 35 degrees off-center.
