Yamaha 2017 Yamaha F20 SEA Outboard Motor

This listing covers a Yamaha F20 SEA, part of the 362cc, 20 hp, two-cylinder SOHC portable family built with a single carburetor and CDI microcomputer ignition shared across Yamaha's 2017 F20 trims. Specifics to confirm before ordering Yamaha sells this engine across several shaft lengths and control configurations, so confirm shaft length and steering type, tiller or remote, for this specific unit with us before ordering. What does carry across the whole F20 family: a bolt pattern spaced 28.6 inches apart, drive gearing reduced at 2.08:1, compression rated 9.3:1, and a four-stop tilt bracket spanning 67 to 71 degrees. Steering angle tops out at 45 degrees from center in either direction across this engine line. Because this particular listing mixes details that point to more than one trim in the F20 family, treat the shaft and steering specifics as unconfirmed until checked against the physical unit rather than assumed from the model name alone. Questions buyers ask What's the oil capacity? With the filter in place the oil capacity is 1.8 liters, dropping to 1.6 once it's removed. What fuel does it need? Regular unleaded, minimum 87 octane. What's the warranty? Yamaha's standard terms for the F20 line run 3-year pleasure and government coverage, 1-year commercial. Why isn't shaft length confirmed here? This particular listing's own details point to more than one trim in the family, so it is safer to verify the physical unit than to assume from the model name alone.
