About this product
The Weiand Stealth Ram pairs an aggressive, race-inspired look with fuel-injection drivability, built as the manifold half of the Holley Stealth Ram EFI system, the Commander 950, and also sold on its own for retrofit onto L-98 TPI engines and other small-block Chevy builds running standard or GM Vortec cylinder heads. What it's for Both OEM and aftermarket TPI throttle bodies bolt on, and the mounting bracketry for kickdown, cruise and throttle cables is already built in, with a power band running from idle to 6,500 RPM. The D-shaped runners are meant to promote high flow without turbulence, and there are no EGR provisions. Construction Short individual runners feed a large upper plenum in this two-piece design, built with precision CNC machining and permanent mold casting, finished in satin. Who it suits It suits a late-80s Camaro or similar street/strip Chevy that's moving from a carbureted setup to port EFI without giving up the option to fit standard or GM Vortec heads down the road, rather than a build staying on a carburetor. Before you order If you're fitting this to a 1958-95 Chevy cast iron cylinder head, you'll need kit 42590748 as well, since the stock port match differs from the Vortec head pattern this manifold is otherwise machined for.
