VEGE Remanufactured Long Block Crate Engines 535C

The smallest displacement in this remanufactured lineup, this long block is machined to 1.8L (1834cc) specification, aimed at a worn-out four-cylinder rather than a step up in output. What you get Reconditioned heads and a mounted water pump come with the block, and the sale includes a new oil pump and gasket set as well. What doesn't ship: the timing cover, intake manifold, oil pan, valve covers, and the ignition system, all of which have to be reused from your current engine or purchased new. Before you order This smaller four-cylinder mostly shows up in economy-focused compact and midsize cars, with a fair number of fleet vehicles running it too, so confirm your exact engine code rather than assuming cross-compatibility with a similarly sized unit. Professional installation and a proper break-in period are worth planning for once it's installed, and resist the urge to drive it hard before the rings have had a chance to seat. Common questions Does it include an oil pan? No, the oil pan and valve covers are not part of this sale and have to be reused. Is this new or remanufactured? Remanufactured — machined, rebuilt, and tested rather than a new-production unit. Will any vehicle with a 1.8L take this? Only one originally built around this 1834cc engine; confirm your code before ordering. Is the timing cover included here? No, unlike the smallest-displacement engine elsewhere in this range, the timing cover is not part of this sale.
