VEGE Remanufactured Long Block Crate Engines 335E

Machined to its own 3.0L (2960cc) spec rather than a rounded-off displacement, this VEGE long block remanufactures a V6 for buyers dealing with a tired engine rather than wanting to rebuild the original themselves. Included and excluded The cylinder heads come reconditioned, and a new oil pump with gasket set ships as part of the long block. Unlike a couple of the other engines in this lineup, the water pump stays off the parts list here, and so do the oil pan, valve covers, timing cover, intake manifold, and ignition hardware, each of which needs to be carried over from your current engine or bought new. Before you order Factory fitment for this displacement spans a run of midsize cars, SUVs, and plenty of fleet-operated examples, but confirm your exact engine code rather than assuming a similar-sized six-cylinder will interchange. Professional installation is recommended, and a proper break-in afterward helps the rebuilt internals reach their expected service life rather than wearing prematurely. Common questions Is a water pump included? No, that part is not included and has to be reused or sourced on its own. Can I install it myself? It can be done as a driveway project, but having a shop handle the install tends to go better for fitment and performance. What's the difference between a long block and a short block? A long block adds the cylinder heads and valvetrain to the short block's bare bottom end.
