One Power 24-3500 lithium pack, purchased on its own, is the battery this motor is built around; it mounts on remote steering with an electric starter and a 30-inch long shaft. The bare motor comes in at 43 lbs, with that matched battery adding another 56 lbs. Running it Torqeedo rates the housing to IP67 and seals the drivetrain against saltwater corrosion for the kind of extended commercial-style use that includes the occasional grounding on a hard bottom.
