Why the extra-long shaft matters At 25 inches, this shaft suits transoms too tall for the standard Cruise 10 to keep its propeller properly submerged, and that extra length is most of the added weight compared with shorter Cruise 10 motors. The helical-gear pylon and GPS-linked display carry over unchanged from the rest of the range. Instrumentation and build Speed, power draw, state of charge, and remaining range all show on the onboard display, fed by the motor's built-in GPS, and the housing carries an IP67 waterproof rating suited to regular use.
