About this product
This remanufactured four-speed automatic shares the Chevy bellhousing pattern, 30-spline input, and 3.06 first-gear ratio of similar units nearby, but it's built specifically around a one-piece bellhousing paired to an iron block, using a one-piece case design and a 13-pin connector on the controller side. Match it to your block Because the bellhousing is molded into the case itself, this is the right pick only if your engine already runs that matching iron block and one-piece housing setup; it won't swap onto a 4WD application built around a bolt-on bellhousing the way some other automatics in this range will. The case carries a gray finish, the stock-style pan is aluminum with a polished finish, and output goes through a slip-on yoke. Rebuild details and what's missing Thrust washers, seals, bushings, high-energy bands, and new clutch material are part of the rebuild, alongside a hardened sunshell, a rebuilt front pump, and that Corvette-style servo for better shift feel through the street performance valve body. A controller, wiring harness, cooler, flexplate, converter, and fluid are each left out of the box, and there's no dipstick either. It is lockup compatible and sold individually after dyno testing. What makes this different from a bolt-on-bellhousing version? The one-piece case and 13-pin connector only mate with the matching iron block and housing. Is a torque converter included? No, plan on sourcing one to match your stall needs.
