Factory-fitted parts A harmonic balancer, oil pan, timing cover, valve covers, and spark plugs all come pre-installed on this long block. Everything else that finishes the engine — carburetion or EFI, distributor, ignition, exhaust manifolds, air cleaner, computer, wiring harness, and the flexplate or flywheel for your transmission — is left for the builder to add, matched to the rest of the car. Setup and fuel Every unit in this family is calibrated and dyno-tested before it leaves the shop.
