The Roush 511 SRFE is a new big-block Ford long block at 511 cubic inches, built with CNC-ported aluminum cylinder heads and a solid roller camshaft for high-RPM, high-torque applications. What's assembled Forged pistons, crankshaft, and connecting rods form the rotating assembly, with spark plugs and the timing cover, the harmonic balancer, the oil pan, and the valve covers installed at the factory. Left out of the box entirely are a carburetor or EFI system, throttle body, distributor, exhaust manifolds, computer, wiring harness, flexplate, and flywheel, plus the air cleaner, so the fuel, ignition, and drivetrain hardware are left to the builder.
