Swap the pull cord for a key or button and you have the NSF15CEF1, the electric-start sibling of Nissan's 2015 15 Hp outboard. Everything else carries over from the Tohatsu-built design: two cylinders, four-stroke operation, and the same short-shaft, tiller-steered layout. Electric start changes the alternator too Adding a starter motor means this version carries a 12-volt, 145-watt alternator as standard equipment rather than the optional, bolt-on unit offered on the pull-start model. Trim and tilt stay manual here, and steering remains tiller-operated rather than remote.
