Amperage is set from the front panel instead of the torch handle. It is a DC-only unit and will not TIG weld aluminum. Ranges and sizing On 120V, stick tops out near 90A and TIG near 130A; on 240V those climb to roughly 160A for stick and 160A for TIG. Mild steel and stainless capacity holds around 3/16 in, run on 5/32 in rod, with the power source itself at 13 lbs.
