Mercury Tempest Plus (14.6 x 26″) Mercury RH Propeller

The Mercury Tempest Plus is a 14.6-inch diameter, 26-pitch, three-blade stainless steel propeller built for right-hand rotation outboards, listed under part number 48-8M0151387. Who it suits This diameter and pitch combination targets bass boats, walleye boats, and similar sport boats running outboard power, particularly rigs mounted with the motor set higher on the transom, where the Tempest Plus's larger diameter compared with other props aimed at these hulls helps recover bite and hole shot. Before you order Stainless props like this one mount through a separate hub kit matched to the specific outboard, so confirm the correct hub kit for the application before buying; it does not come bundled with the propeller itself. Rotation matters too: this is a right-hand, clockwise-turning propeller, so check the outboard's rotation before ordering a replacement, since a left-hand unit will not work in its place. Performance Vent System The blades carry a three-hole Performance Vent System that lets an installer tune hole-shot by opening or plugging vent holes, and this 26-pitch version ships with the large-hole PVS plugs already installed, giving a baseline setup that can be adjusted later to suit the boat and load. Common questions Does it come with a hub kit? No, the hub kit is sold separately and must match the outboard. Will this fit a left-hand rotation motor? No, this is a right-hand rotation propeller only.
