Mercury 225HP XL FourStroke Outboard DTS White

This new Mercury 225HP XL FourStroke Outboard DTS White is the painted version of the plain 25 inch DTS V6, available in a choice of three white tones: pearl, cold, or warm fusion. Specifications Dry weight sits at 475 lbs for this 3.4 liter V6, which tops out between 5200 and 6000 rpm. Power trim and tilt covers adjustment on the water. Fit and features This XL trim does not list a counter rotation option, unlike the CXL DTS model, so check with us if that is needed rather than assuming the trims match feature for feature. DTS controls expect a digital-ready console rather than a cable setup. Mercury's factory coverage runs three years, and the package includes a manual, mounting hardware, and a tool kit; a propeller is not included. Verify the 25 inch shaft suits your transom before ordering, since a motor an inch or two short or long at the transom will either cavitate or drag excess hull in the water. At 25 inches, the XL shares its shaft length with the CXL, so the real choice between them is the color and trim badge rather than how the boat will perform once rigged. What finishes are available? Cold fusion white, warm fusion white, or pearl fusion white, your pick. Is counter rotation available on this trim? It is not listed; confirm with us if your boat requires it.
