McGaughys McGaughy's Black SS Suspension Lift Kits 57292

McGaughy's part 57292 belongs to the Black SS line and lifts a truck's front end 6 to 10 inches by way of a coil spring, rather than the steering-knuckle setup McGaughy's uses on some of its other Black SS kits. What it is for At the rear, a leaf spring block handles the lift. McGaughy's ships both front and rear shocks in the box here, and both are the non-adjustable type. All mounting hardware is in the kit too, and the parts carry the same gloss black powdercoat finish seen across the Black SS lineup. What to check before buying Because McGaughy's lifts the front through the coil spring on this particular kit, confirm that matches your truck's stock front suspension design before ordering; other McGaughy's kits use a steering knuckle instead. This kit carries no FMVSS 126 certification, and McGaughy's calls for an alignment once the lift is installed. Common questions Does the front lift come from a steering knuckle? No, this particular kit lifts the front through a coil spring. Are shocks part of the package? Yes, non-adjustable shocks ship for both the front and rear. How tall is the lift? 6 to 10 inches.
