Lincoln Electric 185 Engine Welder Generator

The Lincoln Outback 185 is a portable DC stick welder and AC generator in one engine-driven package, with up to 185 amps of welding output and grab bars built into both ends for loading onto a truck bed. What it's for Stick electrode capacity reaches 5/32 inch on this machine, and AC generator output is rated at 5,700 watts peak with 5,200 watts continuous, enough for job-site tools, motor starting, or backup power. It also runs a Lincoln Electric Power MIG 180C for wire welding, or a Tomahawk 375 Air for plasma cutting, when either accessory is added. What to check before buying Output here is single-phase DC only, with a duty cycle that runs 100 percent at 100 amps, 60 percent at 130 amps, and 20 percent at 150 amps, so match your expected amperage to how continuously you weld. At 325 pounds, confirm your truck bed capacity and lifting plan before ordering. What comes with it All engine controls, including the electric start switch and choke, sit on the front panel for easy access, especially useful when the unit is mounted on a truck bed. Run time stretches thanks to a large-opening 6.8-gallon tank, and a Lincoln canvas cover is included for protection when the unit is not in use. What skill level is this built for? Beginner and weekend-warrior skill levels, alongside light industrial use.
