What's built into it Inside is a cast iron Scat crankshaft, forged 5140 steel connecting rods, hypereutectic aluminum pistons (with a Mahle upgrade available), and King XP bearings, topped with cast iron EQ-spec cylinder heads and a solid flat-tappet camshaft with a 2.00 inch intake and 1.55 inch exhaust valve. An Edelbrock Performer EPS 2701 dual-plane intake sits on top, with the HEI distributor, spark plug wires, Champ-style racing oil pan, water pump, and harmonic balancer also installed, along with roller tip rockers and a 2-piece rear main seal.
