About this product

This is the black-accessory-drive version of BluePrint's supercharged 427 combo, still built around a Magnuson TVS 2.3L supercharger making 800 horsepower while 780 lb-ft of torque comes from an 11.0:1 compression ratio. Mototron S107 injectors handle the extra fuel demand, and the package ships matched to a 4L80E automatic. Who this suits Pick this over the polished version if the black front-end finish fits your build better; the engine, supercharger, and drivetrain are otherwise the same. Tuning stays open to a local dyno shop since the ECU ships unlocked, with an LS3 production intake manifold and its own drive-by-wire throttle body feeding the supercharger from below. What to check before ordering Model years 2006 through 2015 cover the Chevrolet 7.0L/427 LS platform this supercharged combo is built around, so confirm your application fits that range. This 4L80E's converter stalls at 3,200 rpm or higher, and oil pan clearance is designed around 1955-95 GM V8s running a front engine with rear-wheel drive. Dry-sump oiling and emissions-controlled setups fall outside what this combo is built for. BluePrint calls for 91-93 octane fuel, its own BPP710 oil, and recommends its matching air intake kit for accurate mass air flow readings under boost. Common questions Why choose the black finish over polished? BluePrint sells this supercharged combo in both finishes under separate part numbers, and this is the black version. What handles flywheel duty here? A flexplate, since this is an automatic application rather than a manual one. What injectors does it use? Upgraded Mototron S107 units sized for the supercharged airflow.
