This base-dressed, low-profile 383 is sized for Corvettes, Tri-Five Chevys, and Camaros with tight engine bays: the usual 436 horsepower, 443 pound-feet, 10.0:1 compression, carbureted, but without the deluxe front accessory-drive package BluePrint sells on some of its other 383 dress levels. What's different about low profile Up front, the harmonic balancer shrinks to 6.75 inches and the distributor goes small-cap, ready to run, with its own tach drive and coil built in.
