Ariens Professional SSR (21″) 208cc Single-Stage Snow Blower 938024

The Professional SSR is a single-stage machine, simpler than the two-stage models elsewhere in the Professional range: a 208cc Ariens AX engine clears a 21-inch path through an all-steel housing built for repeated, commercial-style use. Single-stage versus two-stage Single-stage design means the auger itself throws the snow, with no separate impeller stage, suiting lighter and more frequent clearing rather than deep accumulation. Recoil start is used here rather than electric, and an easy-load handlebar system helps when loading the machine for transport between jobs. Chute and durability Chute rotation on this model is manual. All-steel housing and skid shoes are built to survive scraping against pavement and curbs over a long season of repeated use. Starting without a battery Recoil-start machines like this one depend on the pull cord and its spring rather than a battery, so keeping that cord in good condition matters more here than on an electric-start model, since there's no backup way to start it. A cord that feels gritty or catches partway through its pull is worth inspecting before it leaves you stuck at the start of a shift, especially on a cold morning when the engine is hardest to turn over and a dependable pull matters most. Electric or recoil start? Recoil start. Tank, model, coverage? .37 gallons, model 938024, 3-year consumer warranty, new. What colour is it? It comes in the factory orange and black finish.
