Ariens Platinum 24 SHO (24″) 369cc Two-Stage Snow Blower 921050

The Ariens Platinum 24 SHO pairs a 369cc Ariens AX engine with a 24-inch clearing width, built as a two-stage machine for a driveway that gets buried more than once a season but doesn't need the reach of the wider Platinum decks. Its SHO impeller is tuned for extra throwing distance, so cleared snow lands farther off to the side instead of piling back up along the edge of the path. Turning and power Auto-Turn triggerless steering lets you pivot the machine without squeezing a lever on each handle, which helps most when turning at the end of a run in tight quarters. Drive comes from the Disc-O-Matic system, and a cast iron case protects the gears underneath it. The chute rotates with a quick-turn control, so aim can change mid-pass without walking around the unit. Comfort through a long storm Heated handgrips and a halogen headlight are aimed at the parts of clearing that wear people down: cold hands early on, and low light before sunrise or after dark. Electric start removes the recoil-pull step on cold mornings, which matters more the longer a storm runs. What size yard suits this model? A 24-inch path sits between compact single-stage blowers and the wider Platinum decks, fitting a standard double driveway without excessive passes. What should I know about the tank and coverage? It holds .8 gallons and ships with Ariens' 3-year consumer warranty under model 921050, sold new. Colour and intake height? It comes in the factory orange and black finish, and the intake opening is 21 inches tall.
