Ariens Compact (24″) 223cc Two-Stage Snow Blower

The Ariens Compact is a new two-stage snow blower with a 223cc engine and a 24-inch intake, built with a cast-iron gear case for durability and rated to throw snow up to 40 feet. Why the throw distance matters A 40-foot throw means you can clear a driveway and send the snow well clear of it rather than piling it right at the edge, which matters most after repeated storms when there is nowhere left nearby to put more snow. The 223cc engine and cast-iron case back that distance up over repeated use. Operating features Electric start removes the pull-cord step, the Disc-O-Matic system sends power to the wheels, and chute rotation is quick to redirect snow without stopping. A halogen headlight covers early-morning or evening clearing, and the fuel tank holds .725 gallons. What size driveway does this suit? A machine this size with this throw distance fits a single driveway with moderate to heavy snowfall. Does it have a headlight? Yes, a halogen headlight. What's the warranty? A 3-year consumer warranty; model number 920027. Between the cast-iron gear case and the rated 40-foot throw, this sits a step up from Ariens' lighter-duty models in both durability and clearing reach, without moving into the larger-engine Deluxe or Platinum territory. It is a reasonable middle choice for a household that sees real snowfall most winters but does not want to pay for a wider, heavier machine. What colour is it? It comes in the factory orange and black finish.
