In 1945, the first VornadofanTM was created. The name is derived from “Vortex” and “Tornado”. Unlike ordinary fans, Vornado’s unique Vortex Action creates a powerful flow of cool air that reaches every corner of your room. The superior design creates a high velocity stream of air (2.9 – 12.5 cubic metres per minute) that circulates throughout your entire space, delivering a constant flow of refreshingly cool air. The great thing about this fan is that it’s effective even if you’re not sitting directly in front of it. That’s because Vornado fans actually keep the air in constant motion, like a gentle breeze that’s always moving through the room. A Vornado fan can actually cool down everyone in the room at the same time! The 6303DC is the central figure in Vornado’s new Energy Smart™ circulator family. Combining a sleek style with a more-powerful airflow (up to 85 feet or 30 metres), the brushless DC motor uses up to 80% less energy, bringing modern efficiency to the home. Zero in on your ideal environment with precise controls that enable you to input in the setting that feels right for you — variable speed for the circulators. A return to variable speed settings puts you in precise control of your environment via 99 unique airflow settings, and an energy-saving timer shuts off the air when it’s not needed. Electronic push-button and touch controls, plus a remote control, bring added convenience. Complete with our 5-year satisfaction guarantee, these DC circulators will keep you comfortable for years (and years) to come. DC fans are generally less affordable than AC fans upfront, however, they use less power than AC fans, making them more environmentally friendly and cost-effective in the long run. The DC-powered Vornado 6303 DC, with its 12 hours Timer, Remote Control, and Speed / Timer Indicator Display might just offer an attractive alternative to the traditional.
